Sunsplash Water park
If you like to get wet and you love waterslides, you may let off steam at SunSplash Family Water park. On 15 tropical acres this is a fun paradise for all water rats right in the center of Cape Coral. In this huge fun park it is all about the cool wet! You can enjoy this wonderful refreshment on numerous waterslides, in all kind of pools and in real pipes. In-between you are invited to relax on sun islands and terraces. Volleyball-fans amuse themselves on an artificially applied beach. Here kids and adults enjoy a day of games and fun! In total there are 12 wet and dry attractions at your disposal. Eco-Park (Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve)
Located a Caloosahatchee this park is a green gemstone right in the center of Lee Island Coast, offering pristine canoe- and kayak tours, a 1 mile long hiking trail through mangrove forest and marshland, a quite picnic-area and a visitor’s center.

Rotary Park Environmental Center
This is the latest park in Cape Coral and offers on an area of approximately 200 acres mangrove-wetlands and an original seedling nursery. A covered terrace, plastered bikeways, a dog’s park, nature trails and a lookout invite the guests to stay.

Cape Coral Historical Museum
Discover the fascinating history of Cape Coral. The Museum was established by The Cape Coral Historical Society to preserve the history of Cape Coral and Southwest Florida. Originally, the building was the clubhouse at The Cape Coral Country Club. Then in 1977, it was moved to Four Freedoms Park and used as a multi-functional facility. In 1983 the Historical Society moved the building to Cultural Park for the establishment of the Museum.
Here you will also find a huge collection of shells and fossils, exhibitions that change at regular intervals, as well as a very impressive slide show.
Opening times: We, Th, Su from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., closed in July and August.

Enjoy year-round fine arts, crafts classes and workshops for all ages. The Cape Coral-Lee County Public Library is the primary library for Cape Coral, as well as one of the three regional libraries serving Lee County. It houses the system's humanities collection, including the 34 volume Dictionary of Art. It also has a large meeting room, a word processor and typewriter for public use, microform magazine archives and printers, and a busy youth services program. The library offers programs for adults and children, including story times.
